For over 20 years I’ve been deeply immersed in the world of financial investing, commodity trading and precious metals. For the last 15 of those years, I’ve been actively involved in the Gold IRA space.
Prior to making the decision to branch out alone I was the Financial Director of the London head quartered shipping agency World Freight Services Limited for 16 years.
My journey into the realm of precious metals, and particularly gold, began when I first started trading commodities. Oddly enough, I discovered an uncanny ability to decipher gold price movements and analyze gold charts much more easily than the other commodities that I was tracking.
But trading isn’t just about charts; it’s also about understanding and being up to date with the underlying forces that drive prices. Intrigued by this, I delved deep into the gold market, and even to this day, it continues to fascinate me.
It was that deep interest that led me to start Gold IRA Companies Bulletin back in 2014. Below I will expand on that.
As I look back, I can appreciate the significance of having planned ahead for retirement. It’s an invaluable lesson that I’m eager to share and help others embrace.
The wealth of gold IRA, precious metals investing and retirement planning information that I have provided here on this site has come from a combination of personal experience and countless hours of research. I have authored around 500 in-depth, research-driven articles and market analyses on this website over the past decade.

How Gold IRA Companies Bulletin Has Evolved
Back in 2014 when this website was first launched the information focused exclusively on Gold IRAs, Gold IRA Companies and precious metals investing. Subsequently it has evolved, and relevant background information about retirement planning and the various types of retirement accounts available has been added.
It was restyled as a news site in late 2023 and since then we have been publishing here our own regular news bulletins and updates about anything related to, or potentially impacting on, Gold IRAs.
An even more recent development (early 2025) has been the introduction of the Gold IRA Companies Bulletin Podcast and YouTube channel. This multi-format approach is in recognition that people now want to receive information in an entertaining way and in ways that can fit in with their daily routines.
Our aim has been to make Gold IRA Companies Bulletin a branded One-Stop-Shop for Gold IRA & Precious Metals Investing.
