Goldline is wholly owned by A-Mark Precious Metals, Inc. (AMRK), an approved buyer for the US Mint and one of the biggest publicly trading precious metals dealers in the US serving clients in 6 continents.
Goldline are based in Los Angeles, CA and have around 160 employees, including Personal Account Executives who are there to assist customers throughout the precious metals buying and selling procedures.
When I spoke to one of their Customer Service representatives the gentleman proudly declared to me that Goldco are the exclusive dealer for certain bullion products from some of the world’s major mints. He went on to explain to me how all their financial transactions are audited by a well known international accounting firm, and that since they first started in business they have safely delivered precious metals worth in excess of $4 billion.
I was impressed with the way that Goldline’s user-friendly website provides a wealth of information about investing in gold and silver. It also has a form where you can request a free Investor Kit.
While exploring their website, I was able to glean information about the various coins and bars that you can buy from Goldline. The procedures for doing so are clearly explained and various forms can be viewed and downloaded. In addition, in that section I was able to see information about Goldline’s BuyBack Policy.
I must admit that I found it surprisingly disappointing that the whereabouts of information about Goldline’s IRA is not obvious, as there is not a direct navigation link to it. I eventually found it under their ‘How To Buy’ section, and once there I was able to read about Goldline’s Express IRA Program and their Price Shield.
Also on the website I was able to see spot prices and charts for Gold, Silver, Platinum and Palladium as well as Gold Market News Items.
When I clicked on the ‘Shop Now’ button I was directed redirected to the Goldline online store.
When I contacted Goldline, their knowledgeable Personal Account Executives impressed me with their expertise and assistance throughout the precious metals buying and selling procedures. Having personally evaluated numerous gold IRA companies over the past 12 years, it was evident to me that Goldline’s commitment to customer support ranks alongside some of the best ones.
I was able to find Information about all the products you can buy from Goldline at the Buy/Sell section on their website.
Some of the coins that they offer are exclusive to Goldline. They are the exclusive dealer for several gold and silver bullion coins that are issued by two of the finest mints in the world, namely the Royal Canadian Mint and the Perth Mint Australia.
Available for purchase from Goldline in addition to those exclusive gold and silver bullion coins are gold coins and bars, silver coins, bars and rounds, platinum coins and bullion and palladium bars and coins.

Goldline Reputation, Ratings and Complaints
Disclaimer: I am just reporting below my findings on the independent websites mentioned during my most recent visits. None of this reflects my opinion and I am unable to verify the accuracy of the information shown on these consumer advocacy sites.
Goldline BBB – Better Business Bureau
During my extensive research into Goldline’s reputation I discovered that they have received an A Rating from the Better Business Bureau (BBB), from a scale of A+ to F. They have been Accredited at the BBB since 2015.
At the time of my most recent check there had been 13 Customer Complaints closed in the previous 3 years and 5 Customer Complaints closed in the previous 12 months.
Also, at the time of my most recent check at the BBB there were 57 Customer Reviews about Goldline, with an average rating of 4.3 out of 5 Stars.
Goldline BCA – Business Consumer Alliance
At the Business Consumer Alliance (BCA) Goldline have been awarded an A Rating. The highest possible Rating is AAA.
At the time of my most recent check there had been no complaints registered about Goldline over the previous 3 years and no Customer Reviews had been posted.
Based on 50 customer reviews Goldline come out with an average of 2.5 out of 5 stars at Trustlink.
Goldline have been in business for over 60 years which is no mean feat! During that time they have gained a strong reputation.
They are trusted by two of the world’s finest mints to be the exclusive dealer for some of their offerings.
They have a wide selection of rare coins and bullion, most of which can be purchased at their online store.
The negative is that their record at the 3 independent consumer advocacy sites that I monitored could be stronger. At BBB they have not been awarded the top Rating and there were a number of complaints listed, at BCA they have not been awarded the top Rating and at Trustlink there were more negative than positive customer reviews posted.
As a professional in this field and with years of experience behind me, I am committed to providing honest and unbiased reviews. Overall, taking all the factors of my research into account, I consider that while there are certainly positives about Goldline, in comparison to other gold IRA companies that I have evaluated, I wasn’t convinced that they warranted inclusion on my list of top picks.
I encourage you to visit different gold IRA companies’ websites, to explore their products, and to conduct your own research before making any investment decisions.
