Background
Rosland Capital is headed up by their founder and now CEO Marin Aleksov who has been involved in the industry for around 20 years and who now spends most of his time directing the Company’s development and expansion.
The company currently has around 70 employees.
Company Website
When I visited the company’s well-designed website, I was impressed by the wealth of information it provides about gold and other precious metals, including gold and silver historical charts.
There is a form where you can request further information and/or a call with one of their precious metals specialists. A nice feature is the news section which is regularly updated with topical information.
In my opinion, probably the most helpful part of the site is the FAQ page. I consider it a shame, however that it’s hidden away under the ‘About’ tab, because any fleeting visitors would probably never discover it. It contains a wealth of information about all aspects of Buying Gold.
There is a page about the Rosland Capital Precious Metals IRA which provides a six step plan for getting started and has a link to a form where you can request further information to be sent to you.
When I got to the section called ‘Recommendations’ I was assuming this would include details of the products that they are recommending, and maybe some bespoke packages that they had put together. In the event, it turned out to be a testimonials page!
Products
The products offered by Rosland Capital are gold, silver, platinum and palladium coins, proofs and bars.
It was after I called the company and spoke to one of their Customer Service representatives that I learnt that their minimum online order is $1500 and their maximum online order is $10,000. They went on to tell me that if your intended order is in excess of $10,000 you need to call one of Rosland’s representatives.
Details of their products are displayed well on their website. There are individual pages displaying Gold, Silver, Bars, Bullion Coins and Premium Coins. When I clicked on a product displayed on one of those pages it opened onto a dedicated page for that product. Once there I was able to read much more detailed information such as the product description and specifications, payment terms and the customer agreement (which you can download as a PDF).

Reputation, Ratings and Complaints
As a professional within the industry and someone with considerable experience of evaluating gold IRA companies, whenever investigating a company’s reputation and past performance I consider that making checks at the main independent consumer advocacy sites should be an important and an integral part of my research.
In my experience the three most trusted ones are Better Business Bureau (BBB), Business Consumer Alliance (BCA) and Trustlink.
I followed that procedure during my extensive research into Rosland Capital, and I am reporting my findings below.

BBB – Better Business Bureau
Rosland Capital has been an Accredited Business at the BBB since 2008 and has been awarded an A+ rating by them, which is the highest possible.
At the time of my most recent check on the BBB website there had been 22 complaints closed within the previous 3 years and 12 closed within the previous 12 months. According to BBB these complaints included issues concerning problems with a Product or Service, Advertising/Sales and Delivery. BCA – Business Consumer Alliance
Rosland Capital has been awarded a top AAA rating at the BCA, where it has been a member since 2008.

At Trustlink Rosland Capital had achieved a 3.5 out of 5 stars rating based on 71 reviews at the time of my most recent check. There were varied consumer opinions about this company there, with the scores ranging from 5/5 to 1/5. You can read the reviews here.
Conclusion
The fact that Rosland Capital have been awarded top ratings by two of the main independent review bodies, BBB and BCA, shows that they are doing a lot of things right. Clearly they are committed to resolving any grievances and complaints that their customers might have.
Their performance at Trustlink is not quite as strong as it is at the BBB and BCA. They have achieved 3.5 out of 5 stars based on reviews posted by their customers.
